2012 SCHEDULE

#33— Conor Walsh — RHP/C—Barnstable High

Conor Walsh turned in arguably his best season of his career in 2014, helping lead Post 206 to a 21-5 record and third straight regular season District 10 championship title with a 6-1 record on the mound including a 1-1 mark in the District 10 playoffs... his win over Hawkeye AC was critical to Post 206's run toward a playoff title, but fell short in the finale versus a tough Kingston Post 387 squad.... Walsh truly shined as a back-up catcher for Post 206 when it was needed most, not an easy task for a pitcher to jump out of the rotation and jump behind the plate... shows promise and power at the plate and can also play third or first base... Walsh hopes to continue his Legion success at Clark University in the fall... boasts a 12-1 record on the mound, lifetime, for Post 206 and back-to-back 3-0 marks in two state championship seasons... will study economics at Clark University in the fall and hopes to continue studying the Chinese language... an accomplished football player as well at defensive end and linebacker... was the recipient of both the Barnstable Quarterback Club and Barnstable Silver Bullets scholarships upon matriculation from Barnstable High School this spring, in addition to numerous other academic scholarships.
